Listen to His “rhema”!

In Greek, there are two words to designate “the Word”:

• The word “logos” for the written Word of God (what you read in the Bible)
• The word “rhema,” which refers to the revealed Word of God, a personal word given to someone.

I love hearing God’s “rhema.” These are the words that I hear in my heart, when God speaks to the deepest part of my being. This “rhema” is so powerful that it can carry me through a whole day, a whole week, even a whole lifetime.

Today, I’d like to encourage you to keep your ear (that of your heart) open and listen to God’s “rhema” for you. He alone knows you deeply, knows what you need to hear right now. Let His “rhema” encourage you and carry you through this day!
