Thank God for who you are!

God does not make clones. He’s not interested in creating perfect robots, and He isn’t looking for flawless, polished Christians either. He loves me for who I am, and He loves you for who you are! Jesus is the Good Shepherd, the One who knows each of His sheep by name. And He knows you perfectly!

“…the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.” (the Bible, John 10:3)

When you appear before Him, Jesus will not ask you why you were not Moses or Joyce Meyer. No! What He may ask you, though, is why you were not yourself.

You are absolutely unique and no one else but you can be…you! Learn to appreciate yourself as you are, with your strengths and even your flaws! Yes, because what God is perfecting in you is an opportunity for Him to support and transform you by His Spirit.

Don’t be ashamed of who you are. Don’t apologize for existing! Instead, why not choose to thank God for who you are?

“Lord Jesus, I praise You for me, I am fearfully and wonderfully made! Marvelous are Your works, and my soul knows it well.” (taken from Psalm 139:14)
