Times of refreshing are coming in your life!

In Psalm 1, God compares us to a tree planted by rivers of water.

“He shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season, whose leaf also shall not wither; and whatever he does shall prosper.” (the Bible, Psalm 1:3)

These rivers of water are divine refreshing flowing into our lives!

But perhaps you’re feeling tired, parched, lifeless, and empty today…I declare it over you: times of refreshing from the Lord, like rivers of water, are coming in your life!

The Bible speaks of a life-giving river of living water proceeding from God’s throne (see Revelation 22:1). This river is a picture of the Holy Spirit who desires to flow in your life, pass in and through it, and spread to others’ lives all around you!

During this busy holiday season, my prayer is that you may be filled and filled again with the Holy Spirit, with His living, blessed, invigorating water…that it empowers you to become this tree that does not wither, remains verdant and bears fruit, and prospers in all things!
