My mom has a truckload of character with a beautiful disposition. Some may think she’s had an easy life, but it’s really the opposite. Character does not come from a life of ease—it comes from a tried, tested and true life.

Have you lost anything during the pandemic? This virus can be deadly, and the measures that were chosen have caused massive losses to all of us. We weren’t allowed to go to church, school, soccer matches, theaters, restaurants or malls.

Bad things are happening around the world: COVID-19, riots, prejudice, chaos, sex trafficking, war and abuse. Let’s face the facts: it’s getting rough out there. Our normal tendency is to ask, “Why is it happening, and who is to blame?”
