As the morning comes, invite the Holy Spirit ☀️

During my time of prayer and meditation one morning, in the peace and quiet, a dove came and landed near me. This gentle appearance made me reflect once again on the importance of meditation. Why? Because that’s where EVERYTHING can happen. Where God comes to meet us and speak to us. Sometimes, we don’t perceive it, as Job points out here: “For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it.” (the Bible, Job 33:14, NIV)

And that morning, He used an astounding and unexpected way: this dove.

In the Word of God, the dove is a mighty symbol representing the Holy Spirit. When Jesus was baptized, the Spirit of God manifested Himself in the form of a dove. The Holy Spirit is the person of the Trinity who’s constantly with you, beside you. He is God accompanying you, speaking to you, and comforting you.

When the Holy Spirit descends upon you, you’ll hear His words so you can treasure and write them down in your journal.

Today, I encourage you to:

• Invite the Holy Spirit to reveal Himself to you,
• Let the dove of the Spirit rest upon your life,
• Release what seems heavy into His hands as this new year begins,
• Let yourself be surrounded by His supernatural peace.

I invite you to pray with me now…“Lord Jesus, this new year, may Your Holy Spirit guide me in Your ways every day and transform me into Your image until You return. Thank You that I’m Your beloved child. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
