Be sensitive today…

I would like to encourage you to be particularly sensitive today to the needs of those around you.

When you go somewhere like church or work or even when you spend time with your family or friends, ask the Holy Spirit to help you discern if others around you are carrying burdens that are too heavy for them to carry all alone.

If you realize that they’re weighed down, ask them: “What’s happening in your life? How can I pray for you today?”

God could use you to help bring relief and freedom! Simply lending an ear is something precious that comes from the heart of God.

Your willingness to listen could be enough to help someone overcome his/her problem. Certain situations are very difficult to share, but simply knowing that someone is listening can ease many sorrows.

Be attentive today because you could very well be someone’s miracle!

Pray with me…“Lord, help me to be like You today, sensitive to others and their needs. I pray that You would help me slow down and see the hurting people You’ve placed in my path. I choose to listen well and be an encouragement to others. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
