“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.” (the Bible, Isaiah 53:4-5)
The griefs and sorrows this passage speaks of are directly linked to sickness. It’s our sorrows He carried… Jesus bore them, and we considered Him stricken by God. Jesus carried your sorrows, my friend, your sickness and infirmity. He was wounded and bruised for your transgressions and iniquities…He fully paid the price for the forgiveness of your sins.
This verse is very important because it directly associates the work of the cross with the solution for your sickness… “and by His stripes we are healed.”
It also holds forgiveness for our sins and the solution to inner emotional problems… “He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him.”
Just as this song by Crowder says, “Forgiven, forgiven, child, there is freedom from all of it, say goodbye to every sin, you are forgiven…”
You received the peace of God because Jesus paid the price in full for you! Because He hung on the cross and died, bearing your sickness and iniquities, you can receive all kinds of healing, including forgiveness and healing for your soul.
I thank you Jesus that by your stripes I am healed
So glad that Jesus heals and he saves. I praise Him in advance for all he is going to do.
Thank you Jesus for answering us when we call on you, for answering our prayers all the time. Thank you for being with us when we’re in trouble, delivering us from the hand’s of the enemy and bringing us into your marvelous light full of love, peace and guidance ??

What a blessing that we are forgiven. Thank God for the sacrifice that He made so we can be healed and declare His word over ourselves. Our God is an Awesome God and His word does not return to Him void and it’s sharper than a two edged sword!! To God be all the glory,honor,and praise. And what a privilege we have to worship Him in song,prayer and worship without being persecuted, Hallelujah!! How Amazing Jesus is too die for us All. God gave us the best gift , his son our savior who laid down his life just so I could live.

The actual scripture says “with his stripes we are healed”, no by his stripes. God has been dealing with me and I know that the wording does make a difference, just haven’t figured it out yet.
