Can we learn something from the zebra?

It seems like it’s been forever since we’ve been able to get away for a weekend! A few months ago, when travel was restricted because of COVID-19, it seemed impossible to ever go anywhere. But today, travel again is possible (hooray!) What if today, something that was impossible became possible?!

I’d like you to join me for a minute to learn something quite wonderful from zebras. Yes, zebras! :-)

Did you know that each zebra is so uniquely created in its patterning that even researchers can’t explain the evolution of the stripes? Unbelievable! Personally, I think God had this idea when He created us humans and liked it so much that He used it for zebras, too.

I’d like to remind you that you were also created uniquely. Humans often cannot understand how WONDERFUL it is what God has accomplished! Where people see flaws, God sees love. Where people see blemishes, God sees perfection. Where people see weakness, God sees strength. When we see the impossible, God sees the possible!

He created you from the beginning. Take a moment to let that statement sink in: He created you! He wanted you to be the way that you are:

“My frame was not hidden from You, when I was being formed in secret, and intricately and skillfully formed [as if embroidered with many colors] in the depths of the earth. Your eyes have seen my unformed substance; and in Your book were all written the days that were appointed for me, when as yet there was not one of them [even taking shape].” (Psalm 139:15-16, AMP)

So, when life, for whatever reason, seems impossible, I encourage you to take the time to quietly reflect and meditate on Psalm 139. How precious it would be if you could clearly see that you’re wanted…just the way you are! You have a purpose, and as you walk with your Creator, accomplishing this purpose is completely possible for you!

I firmly believe and pray that this truth resonates in your heart today. 

You are worth it!

And remember…you’re a miracle!
