Fly with eagles ?

Game changers seem to hang together. Is it just a coincidence, or is there a reason for this phenomenon?

As I’ve studied game changers for several years, I’ve noticed they tend to go to the same conferences and even partner in similar outreaches. An old adage says, “Birds of a feather flock together.” John Maxwell says, “Your associations determine your destination.”

And the Bible says, “Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seat of the scornful;” (Psalms 1:1, NKJV). Do you notice the progressive nature of these relationships: following the sinner’s advice, standing in his/her pathway, and sitting in the midst of the wicked?

Could there be a direct connection between your choices of friends and your health, wealth, happiness, and impact? I wrote Game Changers because we can’t fool ourselves. Luck will not get us through this pandemic, nor will it get us into lives of significance.

The Bible says, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”  (Galatians 6:7, NIV) There is a direct connection between your harvest and the books you read, the friends you make, and the partnerships you develop.

Do you see the correlation? If you could change one thing in your life, what would it be? If you could change one thing in this world, what would it be?

I’d like to challenge you to take a hard look at your friends, associates, and partners. Are you pulling them up into new achievements, or are you pulling them down? Are they influencing you for good or for evil?

I know you can become a game changer. I’m praying you’ll take the necessary steps and God will help you.

Because you are a miracle.
