God delivers you from rejection!

Rejection is a horrible feeling that many of God’s children have experienced, sometimes without being completely healed from it. And because rejection can cause deep wounds that are very difficult to heal, it’s on my heart to encourage you…especially this Thanksgiving week when family and friends are often in town and old memories may resurface.

God wants to fully restore you. Here’s what the Word promises you today:

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” (the Bible, Psalm 147:3, NLT)

Jesus Himself suffered the worst of rejection when the crowd preferred to sacrifice Him instead of Barabbas, the notorious criminal. Is there any more brutal word in existence than “Crucify”…? (Read John 19:6)

Just before Jesus’ sacrifice, His disciples abandoned Him, one of them betrayed Him, and another denied Him. Even His Father turned away from Him.

No one but Jesus can fully understand this feeling of emptiness, this suffering that you’ve been carrying since you were rejected.

  • In your childhood, by your parents.
  • In your marriage, by your spouse.
  • Because of your ethnicity, the color of your skin.
  • Because of your social status, your differences.
  • Because you dared to share that you believe in Jesus…

Because Jesus Himself carried your wounds and suffering on the cross, today He’s encouraging you to come to Him, to lay your heavy burden at His feet. He wants to heal you, wipe every tear from your eye. His arms are open wide to comfort you, bless you, and lift you up.

  • Let Him fill you if you’ve lacked the love of a mother or the presence of a father.
  • Let Him be your spouse every day, if you’ve been abandoned or forsaken.
  • Let Him become your best friend, the One who will never betray you.

And more, Jesus won’t abandon those who are persecuted because of His name. When you endure mockery, insults, rejection, and humiliation, God personally comes to strengthen you…you are a splendid crown in His hand! (Read Isaiah 62:3-4)

You have no idea the reward awaiting you in heaven! (Read Matthew 5:11-12)

Let’s pray together…“Lord, thank You for enduring everything on the cross for me. I praise You for the healing of my soul. Thank You for Your love that’s strengthening, restoring, and blessing me. You are everything to me! Amen.”

Receive your healing by faith and keep moving forward. You are so loved!
