God has new blessings for today…

I’d like each of us this morning to declare, as the prophet Jeremiah did: “Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this: The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”” (the Bible, Lamentations 3:21-24)

It’s so good to sing praises to God for His faithfulness, as in this classic, beautiful worship song.

The Lord’s mercies have no end, and they’re new every morning for each one of us! However, sometimes we can be tempted to focus our attention on everything that’s not going well in our lives, rather than on what’s right! If this is your case, here’s something that might help you: keeping a thankfulness journal.

It involves taking a few minutes every day to write down something you’re grateful for, a thought inspired by the Holy Spirit, an innovative idea, what inspired you in your daily Bible reading, etc.

Taking the time to put these things into writing forces you to express them and helps you grow in gratitude to God. It’s a tremendous remedy for worry as well because it helps you, if you’ve had a difficult day for example, dive back into the Lord’s goodness and again count His blessings to you.

God is faithful; He hasn’t changed. My prayer is that you’d live each day to be even closer to Him!

Please keep America in prayer and pray for Trump and his family’s salvation. And pray for the people who work closely to Trump. And please, please pray for the dear immigrant people at the American/Mexican border…they are really suffering and need a lot of help. And please don’t forget to pray for God’s people Israel. Thank you Eric! ???
