His gaze is upon you

One “A Miracle Every Day” reader shared this with me: “I’m experiencing an emptiness, a spiritual lack. I’m suffering because of my doubts and my ignorance. My soul wounds have pushed me to live in disobedience for several years. Now I’m paying the consequences.”

I understand this frustration and guilt well. Every Christian goes through this phase, but fortunately, life isn’t set in stone. Despite the circumstances, God remains the same. His gaze runs to and from across the Earth and comes to rest…on you. (see the Bible, 2 Chronicles 16:9)

God sees what you’re going through…grief, injustice, loneliness, betrayal perhaps. He also sees the happy times, the joyful outcomes, the victories, the answers to your prayers…

Today, He’s encouraging you to look at Him and not at your circumstances:

We read this in Psalm 34:5-6: “Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; he saved me from all my troubles.” (the Bible, NLT)

Yes, when you pray in desperation, the Lord listens and saves you from all your troubles. All, not just one. All, not just a few! This means a complete and total victory for you! An epic defeat for your enemy.

Remember, every time you feel overwhelmed, just how important you are to God:

• You were born by His choice,
• You are His child,
• You are fashioned for His glory, made for combat,
• You are God’s beloved,
• You are clothed in His grace, surrounded by His glory,
• You are valuable in His eyes,
• You are a co-heir with Christ!

Don’t cry any longer…dry your tears. You’re on your way to victory! You are not alone…God is with you, even to the end of the age! (see the Bible, Matthew 28:20)
