His promise will be fulfilled for you!

AMED 38.03

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | His promise will be fulfilled for you!

I hope that what’s been shared this week has encouraged you to put holy, healthy habits into place that will help you grow in the Lord. :-) I believe these daily (and morning) activities will really help you grow and develop your faith.

Today, we’re going to focus on another habit, one that’s just as important as the previous ones: writing down what God is telling and showing you. In Habakkuk 2:2-3, the Bible says, “…‘Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.’” (NKJV)

Actually, seeking God in the morning is essential and will impact your whole day! However, remembering what God is communicating to you is just as important as receiving it.

That’s why I invite you to start writing a private journal. After reading the Bible, “A Miracle Every Day,” or one of the reading plans available on YouVersion, I encourage you to:

  • Write down everything God is saying to you, what made an impression on you: verses, thoughts.
  • Record what God tells you about your life.
  • Take note of the prayers God has answered and glorify Him!

So, when the promise is slow in coming, you can reread your notes and remember what God told you. Then you won’t get discouraged but keep your eyes fixed on the goal, on the promise.

And when the promise has been fulfilled, the prayer answered, what joy you’ll have, to see how far you’ve come, your growth, and the victories won!

Have a wonderful day in His presence!

Almost everytime I write a comment here, I say “I am amazed at how each day the message is just what I need.” And that can be said for today’s message as well. I believe it is God who helps me carry on even when the “promise” seems slow in being fulfilled.

I will wait and until then write.. and even after the fulfilment I will write and rejoice in His great work!!

I do make note of what I feel God is saying to me, but not every day, I will like to develop this habit of keep a journal regularly.

God bless you much Br. Eric.
