How do you know God better?

There’s an Asian proverb that says you don’t really know a person until you’ve eaten at least 1 kilogram (about 3½ cups) of salt with him/her…and that’s a lot of meals! There’s at least one truth to this…to truly know people, you have to spend time with them.

Do you know who wants to reveal Himself and spend time with you? God, your Father in heaven!

“‘As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you…’” (the Bible, 1 Chronicles 28:9, NKJV)

God lets Himself be found by those who seek Him! I believe that you’re a God seeker and that you want to know Him more deeply…that’s why you subscribed to “A Miracle Every Day.”

I encourage you to spend more and more time with the Lord, praying and reflecting on His Word. At any moment of the day or night, you can turn to Him and incline your ear to hear His voice…and lift yours to worship Him!

God will let Himself be found by you because you seek Him and because He loves you. Do you long to hear His voice more? I invite you to worship Him with this song by Kari Jobe, “Speak To Me,” and ask Him for this very thing today!

Let’s pray together…“Lord, I’m thirsty for Your presence, to know You more deeply. I want to spend more time with You. I long to hear and discern the sound of Your voice. Awaken my heart to Your presence and my ears to Your voice! In Jesus’ name, amen.”
