The condition of your heart is so important to your emotional health. For many years, I read Bible verses that spoke about the heart, and I concluded the authors were not speaking about our literal hearts. They were referring to the inner person where our will and emotions dwell. Psychologists are now calling the heart our second brain.
No one spoke about the heart when I got my graduate degree in psychology. We studied the brain and its impact on emotions and relationships. You can imagine my surprise when I started having pains in my chest, and the doctor gave me this surprising diagnosis. He told me the good news first: I had no blockages in my heart, which meant no hidden dangers of a heart attack, thank God. But then, he said my heart had over 40,000 neurological connections that were stressed out.
Have you ever had chest pains? Have you ever had high blood pressure? Your heart is like a brain. It thinks and transmits messages to your body, blood, arteries, and nervous system.
My mother died a few months ago, and I felt the pain in such a deep fashion that I felt sick physically. I’ve told a few people that her death left me feeling like someone ripped out my kidneys and stomped on them. Emotional healing is often a heart issue. “I said, ‘LORD, be merciful to me; heal my soul, for I have sinned against You.’” (Psalms 41:4, NKJV)
In a previous email, we defined our souls as our minds and emotions. Sometimes we need our hearts and minds to be healed. Do you need deep inner healing? I did, and I looked for people to pray for me and counsel me through the pain. I believe you were designed to be healed because you are a miracle.

Paul I know exactly how you felt because when my brother was murdered I felt like my heart was ripped into pieces. Only through God’s Grace and mercy have I been healing. I still feel a big hole in my heart after almost 20 years, but everyday Jesus comforts me and gets me through it.

I will pray for guidance and discernment for you, the Lord tells us to look at him and read his word for wisdom. If we need wisdom we can ask Him for it. He will prepare you and will open your understanding! Recognizing that we need his presence is a great gift, because that mean we need to invite the holy spirit to live with us, and guide us every single day here on earth. God bless you Sister! ❤️

Yes my heart is heavy and I’m so burden with all that is going on in my life and I’m so tired. My heart breaks and it is only by the grace and goodness of God that I have made it this far. Thank you

I am so very sorry for your loss. Your message and the comments of others here show me that our world and it’s people have suffered tremendous trauma over the last year and a half – but what’s worse is that we already had so much trauma just living our every day lives. Now we are all like onions, and as God heals us, we have to open up and let Him peel back each layer of trauma that has affected us that He might pour out His spirit and bring us back to the state where our heart is fully open and surrendered to Him. He CAN and WILL do it. A great writer and pastor, the Late Oswald Chambers once said: “Jesus may have to wreck a life before He can save it.” That was ME – and I have been healed through it al because I believed God that loves me. Do you want to be healed? Begin by letting Him enter into your heart through prayer – tell Him what hurts – tell Him your anxious thoughts like Daid did, (Psalm 139:22-23) and then FOLLOW His lead – listen to the Holy Spirit as He takes each step and comforts you through them. Reading all the messages we all need inner healing at some point or other in life. God know us better than we know ourselves we are not perfect but With God’s Grace and fully repented as we surrender and pray to Him He hears our cry and set us free of wherever holds us back, praying to God is the closest way I come whole heartily in humble Adoration He knows my inner soul and know how much I love Him♥️ Thank you Paul for sharing your message and teaching us God bless you for You are a miracle!?
