In the Bible, Jesus is also called the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6)
The word “prince,” according to the dictionary, is “a name marking the dignity of one who possesses sovereignty in title; the ruler of a principality or state.” Jesus possesses sovereignty, and in giving Him the title of Prince, God the Father confers upon Him all the dignity that comes with it.
But the word “prince” also designates the son of the king. Thus, God reminds us that He is the sovereign King who reigns upon the Earth. Jesus is the Prince of Peace, the only One who is capable of bringing you true peace.
It’s in Him alone that you can find real peace…
- First and foremost, peace with God. Jesus is the Prince of Peace because His sacrifice reconciles you to God.
- But also peace in your heart, a peace you could never find anywhere else.
Jesus said, “‘Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.’” (according to John 14:27)
As this song by Hillsong United says, may the Prince of Peace meet you and reign in your heart again today.
This year has been my eyes opening for me. I slept for 10 years and now i awoke and realize all those years I felt so low and worthless in my marriage life. When my husband left me, it was the time I went back home to my Father. He has been good to me, encourages me to be better and stronger. It’s hard sometimes there is sadness that hit to the core of my heart. I would go bunker and depress. But I have realized He has plans for me to get away from it and live the life He wants me to be. I was broken and bent but alive and save in His arm. Eric, your AMED comes every morning and it seems my Father sent me words encouragement and strength. I always think I was strong but in fact, I was and am weak, in Him, i find my life in peace and He guides me to the right direction. I am getting better each day and my daughter is back to me being sweet and not judgmental. She had baptism and doing mission at our church. It’s amazing and heartwarming knowing she gives herself to God during the turmoil. I thank God for His words and I am grateful He sent you to me, to rescue me and be a better person.

Miranda, this is so beautiful that He has provided beauty for ashes in your life. He is new every morning. It touches me to see God taking broken vessels and repairing them so He can fill them with His beauty. As a result, we can be poured out, first for His glory, and second, that others may encounter His presence through you. He is faithful to His word. I pray His presence is seen and known to everyone through your testimony. As I said, He is new every morning, and add, great is His faithfulness for you. The Holy Spirit is so much fun to be around. It brings Him great joy to guide you. I find myself chuckling throughout the day as I recognize His presence, and the surprises He brings, even in the little things. Life is a journey, and a greater journey with Him as we surrender to Him all that concerns us. Keep walking!
This is the most beautiful song and it is mesmerizing and takes you away into the arms of God. I absolutely loved it and it came at the right time because of a lot of things I’m going through right and this time of year. It’s been a rough year but thank you for this song it truly helped

ERIC…I KNOW GOD USES YOU SO MIGHTILY . THE SONG CAME AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME. IVE BEEN FEELING SO LONELY SO ALONE. IM A WIDOW, BEEN FOR 7 YEARS AND IT GETS VERY LONELY SOMETIMES . ESPECIALLY NOW THIS SEASON, MY BIRTHDAY HAS COME AND GONE IM ONE MORE YEAR OLDER. I THANK GOD FOR A BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY REGARDLESS OF THE STORMS I FACE. IM STILL EMPLOYED AS WELL.
