Today, I’d like to share with you a story that Nick Vujicic (pronounced VOO-yee-cheech) told when he gave a message in Havre, France. I had the wonderful privilege of translating for him.
He said that he imagined himself at the judgment, after his death. He saw himself there, in front of God, the Judge, and his accusers were there as well, listing all his sins: “Oh God, Nick Vujicic is a sinner. And he did ALL this sin. He sinned all of his life. He doesn’t deserve heaven. He doesn’t deserve eternal life. He is a sinner. He belongs in hell.”
And then, Nick says he saw Jesus standing by him, and He said to God, “Yes, Father, Nick was a sinner. But at age 15, he entrusted his life to You. He believed You sent Me down to die for his sins, and he asked Me for forgiveness of sins. And he’s been living, Father, for Your will, and he’s been telling the world about Me. He is forgiven, and I died for all that sin, because he believed. He’s ours.” And God turns to Nick and says to him, “Welcome home!”
You notice that Jesus stands by Nick. Yes, Jesus is right beside us. He is right beside you and even in heaven, He will again stand at your side to defend you when your accusers start to speak.
Because you believe in Jesus, because you’ve placed your faith in Him and in His work on the cross for you, one day, you will hear God the Father say to you, “Welcome home, my child.” Oh what a joy that will be…!
Amen ..some of your messages are just what i need on that particular day..its like my mind was read. Thank you for your sterling work. My life is in constant attack whether its family, my work ans just things around me and your messages keeps me focused.

I was privileged to hear Nick Vujicic preach on Bobby Schuller’s service and it brought tears to my eyes to see how nothing holds him back from thanking Jesus, even in his disability. God truly stands beside him, because he is a true Christian. Thanks be to God for standing beside us also as our guide and protector.
