Let the fragrance of your worship rise!

I love to listen to songs of praise. I thank God for all of His talented, anointed artists. Many composers have written incredibly beautiful songs for the glory of God, and it’s so good to join in with these songs and worship Him! 

But nothing can replace the words you bring to God in your own personal, unique way. Nothing can replace the fragrance of your praise! The Father’s heart yearns to hear your voice, the song rising from your heart.

This morning, heaven gives heed to your voice. Heaven attentively awaits a new song, a song straight from your heart. The Bible encourages us to “…sing for joy to the Lord; it is fitting for the pure to praise him. Praise the Lord with melodies on the lyre; make music for him on the ten-stringed harp. Sing a new song of praise to him; play skillfully on the harp, and sing with joy.” (Psalm 33:1-3, NLT)

Today, bring a new song, a new melody even here and now! Pour out the fragrance of your worship at the Lord’s feet.
