When night begins to fall, I do what you do… I turn on the light, which helps me continue to work. Because pressing on without it in the half-light definitely quickly becomes complicated, whatever I may be doing!

Here’s the lesson we can draw from this: just as we need light to chase away the darkness of night, we also need the perfect light of Christ to see clearly in our lives!

When a situation seems so complicated that you do not see a solution, ask Jesus to illuminate the path. As I love to say, we serve a God who has creative solutions to unsolvable problems!

He is Creator and creative! He is the true light! (see the Bible, 2 Samuel 22:29)  God will enlighten your heart and reveal the solutions to every situation and problem you have. As this classic song sung by Amy Grant says, His Word is the lamp unto your feet and the light unto your path.

Do not fear! Let Jesus illuminate your life and guide you in every situation.

    Praise and thank you Lord Jesus for answering my lifetime of prayers and leading me into your light and life in you. Help me to shine our light in the darkness which grips my bio family. Thank you for my present church family who has loved me into the light. And thank you, Jesus, for being alive, now and always.
