In these troubled times, I invite you to lift up your prayers and your faith. This beautiful prayer of love to our Lord, attributed to Saint Francis of Assisi, was very quickly adopted by all of the Christian denominations.
“Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
Where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
It is in dying that we are born again to eternal life.”
As you pray this prayer over your life, know that Jesus proclaimed, “‘Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.’” (the Bible, Matthew 5:9, NKJV)
May He make you an instrument of His peace today.
Yes Lord, make me an instrument of peace. Help “me” to decrease and You to increase in me.
I thank You God my Abba for these messages that come in my email, I eagerly wait for them each day. They’re so precious to me. Many many times You have encouraged me in Your ways and kept me going in difficult times.

Heavenly father, i lift up my faith and prayer to you, asking you to make me an instrument of your peace, because blessed are the peace makers. This message came at the appropriate time, because I was not feeling peace today.
