Patience is powerful ?

AMED 46.28

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | Patience is powerful ?

Most people I know think patience is passive. However, in my experience, patience is a choice that’s very active.

Jesus told His disciples, “And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost. By your patience possess your souls.” (Luke 21:17-19, NKJV)

That doesn’t sound like a victim mentality to me. It sounds like a decision that creates self-control. We possess our souls by being patient. How patient are you? To what extent are you able to control your soul? Don’t forget your soul is a combination of your mind and emotions.

I’m not one of those Christians asking for more trials so he/she can develop patience and endurance. No way, and thank you very much! Life is hard enough on its own. I don’t need more trials—I need more help.

Can we be totally honest for a moment? I’m so done with this COVID-19 fiasco. Yes, it’s real, and yes, it’s terrible, but can we get on with life? Let’s wear masks, gloves, hockey helmets or whatever we can do to move on. Can someone please find a cure?

I realize I probably sound simplistic, but do you feel this way as well? I guess I’m losing my patience with this pandemic and the countless stories surrounding it. I’m sad about the loss of life. People we know have died. They were vulnerable, they got sick, and they died.

Have you lost someone you love? I’m so sorry. I feel horrible for you.

Psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross discussed the five stages of grief in her study of death and dying: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. Anger and impatience can be normal, especially under these circumstances.

I encourage you to pray for your trials. Pray for more patience for you to make it through.

You’re a miracle.

You can get closer to (GOD) he’s with you everyday . All you have to do is talk to him just like you would talk to a friend or family member out loud. In your room when your alone. In your kitchen when your cooking or just sitting by your self .

Thank you for your prayers ? .Please pray for me to get rid of my addictions. Do you think that when I pray for someone or something that the Lord hears me? It seems like I’m so far away from life from God.
    Thank you

Jamie, I pray by the power of the Holy Spirit to uproot and destroy any stronghold of addiction in your life. You are so precious and loved by Jesus and He wants nothing more than to free you from all kinds of addictions so that you can whole again and live the purpose He has ordained for you.
God hears the cries of your heart. It doesn’t matter what you have done, Jesus longs to take you in His arms and tell you how much He loves you. He hears your prayers. Remember, prayer is a conversation with God. So tell Him what is in your heart. He already knows it anyway so be as well be honest with Him. Repent of any sins that’s holding you back, ask God for forgiveness with your whole heart and trust me you will see a breakthrough. He is so merciful and kind and loving that He will forgive all our sins if we come to Him with sincere repentance. I’m praying for you. Jesus loves you so much ❤️

I pray for a better walk with God. I am often impatient. When things don’t go my way I take matters into my own hands. Things never go my way when I do this and find myself begging for guidance shortly after. I ask for patience and to know when God is speaking rather than my own voice.

My prayer request got deleted? I’m sorry if I was too candid? Would you please pray for God to restore my normal healthy sleeping patterns, I just want some rest….. Also I struggle very much being a lone and lonely, and not having any Christian companionship, mentors, friendships or relationships (except one) even at the Church I attend, and other churches I have attended…..I am usually not successful in creating meaningful relationships and I have been a Christ follower for over a decade or more, I just want to fit in and be apart of a family of believes who love me and I love them….I just want the restoration of Joy of my salvation, and a renewed and right spirit to know the Lord and serve Him well…Thank you again. God Bless you for your ministry
