Do you live in a big city? Or in a small, quiet town?
No matter the size of where you live, know that God desperately loves every person living there (but you already know this, don’t you? ?). And He’s waiting for you to be a witness of His love! That’s why He’s reassuring you today, just as He reassured the apostle Paul in Acts 18:9-10:
“One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, ‘Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.’” (the Bible, NLT)
There are many people who belong to the Lord where you live, and there are many who are waiting to know Him. So I’d like to encourage you on the Lord’s behalf not to be silent, and not to hide! Your testimony is precious, and even if people try, at times, to portray just the opposite, they desperately need to hear and see Jesus through you.
Wherever you are and wherever you go, share what God has done and continues to do for you…
- With that person who sees you every day,
- With your mail carrier who faithfully brings your mail,
- With the neighbors you chat with from time to time,
- At the grocery store where you run into so many people.
Love! Smile! Share “A Miracle Every Day.” Tell them how God is a Father and Friend to you. Give a testimony about that healing in your body. Don’t be afraid.
Maybe you’re afraid they’ll mock you, or turn their backs on you, or treat you like a “fanatic”…I understand.
God wants to remind you of this: you have nothing to fear! What can men do to you when God is with you? (Read Psalm 118:6)
I invite you to pray with me right now…“Lord, thank You for this word that has rekindled my courage to testify of You. Renew this boldness within me that characterizes the apostles, Your disciples. I want to make You known to the world and bless others. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
