As you know, my friend, the foundation of Jesus’s message is to “love one another.” But how difficult it is to love others sometimes! How do you actually, sincerely love them?

When I praise God, it’s like I’ve made a declaration of love to Him. I tell Him why I love Him. My gaze is focused on Him, my heart turned towards Him. And the more I spend time with God, the more…

• He’s a part of my life,
• I love Him,
• I learn to know Him,
• I receive some of His heart in mine!

One of the first fruits of praise is receiving a bit of God’s heart in ours, and thus learning to love others because it leads us to love as God loves…with selfless love.

Learn to speak the reasons you love others rather than criticizing them…you’ll see the world through much more positive eyes!

In the Bible, we read, ““By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”” (see John 13:35)

Let’s ask God to help us love like He does. May He give us words and acts of kindness for those we encounter today.
