Sometimes, in our Christian walk, we have to (and will continue to need to) demonstrate patience. What’s reassuring, however, is that patience is very often part of God’s plan.
Let’s read what the Bible tells us: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time (…) Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2:3)
God lets us know in advance: what He planned for our lives may take some time to come to pass.
Moses experienced this as well, and here’s what Hebrews tells us: “…he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.” (the Bible, Hebrews 11:27) Other versions say he persevered, persisted, kept right on going! If you are in this waiting… keep persevering! Stay strong!
Is the fulfillment of the vision tarrying? The manifestation of God’s promise for you long in coming? Continue to fix your eyes upon Jesus. What will help you endure is seeing the One who is unseen… constantly watching Jesus, even when everything around you makes you doubt Him and His intervention in your life.
Take hold of this today:
- Jesus is moving in the unseen
- The vision is in progress
- It will surely come!
