Three keys to seeing the Lord act…

The Bible tells us that three things remain: faith, hope, and love.

Faith is the first listed. It’s our foundation! We must place our faith in God. His Word encourages us, saying, “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (see Hebrews 11:6)

Hope in God makes you truly come alive. It gives you wings! It gives you the trust and conviction that God can and wants to do beautiful things in your life. Hope in God. Count on Him! Rely on His help that is always present in times of trouble (see the Bible, Psalm 46:1).

Finally, love remains. Love lightens things. Love allows you to view the world around you through the eyes of compassion, to focus less on your needs and more on those of your neighbor. The Bible says, “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” (1 John 4:7)

Those who persevere in faith, hope, and love will truly see the Lord act. My friend, persevere in your faith, persevere in hope, and persevere in love! These three things remain, and God remains in them.
