Have you ever missed a sign that was announcing danger?
Every year, my wife Denise and I are invited to preach in Maui. It is such a blessing to get to preach there, but even in a beautiful place like Hawaii, there are many dangers.
Once, I didn’t notice the warning flags near the beach; the flags were red, which indicated strong waves and undercurrents. Unexpectedly, I jumped into the ocean, and a wave hit me so hard that I was tossed like a rag doll. It slammed me into the sand, and I struggled to catch my breath.
Have you ever missed a speed limit sign or maybe a road hazard sign? Did you ever disobey the warnings of your parents or the Word of God?
I have, and it cost me dearly. I’m not trying to make you feel worse; we’ve all blown it. Let me encourage you to seek forgiveness from God. He loves you. Be free from it all, and start over.
On your journey of life, I’d like to encourage you to:
- Surround yourself with pastors, coaches, mentors and even counselors. The Word says, “Where there is no counsel, the people fall; But in the multitude of counselors there is safety.” (Proverbs 11:14, NKJV)
- Dive into the Word daily. “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12, NKJV)
- Go back to school or Sunday school. “Study and do your best to present yourself to God approved, a workman [tested by trial] who has no reason to be ashamed, accurately handling and skillfully teaching the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15, AMP)
The virus has tested the depth of our spiritual fiber. So don’t forget, God is for you and so am I.
Please don’t forget warning signs are a gift designed to protect you from harm, not to cause you harm.
You’re a miracle.

Please pray for me. I read a Miracle Every Day and it is always what I need. But right now I feel I need alittle extra . I’m sad, I’m broken hearted. I feel God anymore.

Warning signs are made to make us aware of God’s attention getting theory. However, if we ignore them or don’t realize their existence, we can easily get into trouble. I missed a few and I am reaping the consequences woth fierceness. I am trusting God as I repent and asked forgiveness. Thanks Paul Marc for bringing this to our attention. You and Diane are miracles.
