What if you thought like Jesus thinks?

The Bible says, Dont worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience Gods peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” (see Philippians 4:6-7, NLT)

Today, we’re concluding our series on overcoming worry. Now that worry has lost its power, it’s so important to guard your heart.

The Bible instructs us, Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23, NIV)

The way you live, the very course of your life, flows from your heart. If you’re worried, you’ll live in insecurity, always uncertain about tomorrow. But if your heart trusts in God, that will manifest in every sphere of your life!

So, how do you guard your heart from worry? By keeping your thoughts fixed on Jesus Christ.

The more you practice this healthy habit of thinking about and walking with God…

  • Through reading His Word daily,
  • Prayer,
  • Worship,
  • Fellowship…

…the less you’ll practice other habits that are harmful to your soul. And more, you’ll grow in the knowledge of the One who saved you and learn to see the world more through His eyes!

Jesus is your model. Have you seen Him worry?

Remember this: thinking is what makes man great… but thinking like Jesus Christ is what makes the spirit great.

And helps us to be anxious for nothing! :-)

I am so very happy I was browsing the internet when I got stuck on your site ,Jesus.net . It is the work of God that led me to it. Eric, the daily encouragements had taken me to another level in my life. I was so hard and disobedient with FORGIVENESS and within the week through prayers and meditating upon those words I have found myself in a different place with the very same people I could not even bare to look at. My spirit would be so raised and felt like my blood was boiling in my body (not sure if this can be understood but telling exactly how I felt). I would exit the room when some people enter in. But God is a GOOD and GREAT God.
I have been struggling with FORGIVENESS for years especially when I got hurt to my core…BUT GOD..BUT GOD. THANK YOU JESUS.
Thank you Eric…it has been a BLESSING. I WILL BE JOING WATTSAPP SPCIAL MEDIA SO I CAN SPREAD THIS MORE.
Thanks God Bless. Keep up the good work

This series helped me tremendously to not worry, because praying, and thanking him for all things help us to grow closer to God. Things happen to help us grow in our relationships with others also by forgiveness. Thanks Eric for your wisdom. Blessings.
