As your eyes opened this morning, someone was lovingly watching over you. He didn’t doze; He didn’t fall asleep. He stayed awake, kept watch over you the whole night. You guessed it…it’s the King of Kings Himself, the living and true God!
“Indeed, he who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.” (the Bible, Psalm 121:4, NLT)
At each moment, at all times, His gaze surveys your life. He knows its minutest details. He knows and perfectly sees the recesses of your heart. All is revealed before His eyes; nothing is hidden from Him.
Each of your steps, the progress you make…nothing escapes Him! It’s the same for your missteps, mistakes, and failures. But today, He renews His mercies for you. “…His mercies never cease.” (Lamentations 3:22)
Because He’s your Father, God accompanies you each step of your life. All of your journeys begin under His tender gaze, a gaze of love!
“But the Lord watches over those who fear him, those who rely on his unfailing love.” (Psalm 33:18)
Continue to go forward with assurance…the sweetest and kindest of all gazes is upon you!
Thank You Jesus, it is only Your grace that I see this day. Lord Jesus, Your will be done in me & through me today. Help me live this day honoring You!
