Who is (truly) in control of your life?

What could be more stressful than thinking, “Everything’s on my shoulders. It’s up to me to make sure my children succeed. It’s up to me to keep the house clean and tidy at all times. It’s up to me to change my spouse. It’s up to me…It’s up to me…It’s up to me!”

Unfortunately, that’s how we live some of the time, isn’t it? The problem is that this way of seeing things leaves no place for God. When we start thinking, “I’m in control,” rather than letting God truly take control, stress enters our lives.

God is good and wants us to place all of our trust in Him. He wants us to enter into His rest, surrendering ourselves completely to His care.

When we’re able to fully believe and say, “Lord, I trust You!,” anxiety disappears. The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.” (Psalm 37:3, NLT) It’s as simple as that.

When we make the daily decision to trust God, He brings His blessing in our lives and fulfills all our needs. So let me ask you: Who is in control of your life? Who are you trusting to plan your future?

Close the door to stress and anxiety, releasing every aspect of your life to the Lord. He knows how to guide you throughout your life with Him. You can let go of the wheel and hand it over to God…He will take you to your destination!

Be blessed!

This really has been a blessing to receive I can’t wait to read the next one … thank you brother for being so encouraging . I fall and I fail a lot but one day I know I’m going to be the man that God wants I know it … I keep telling myself I’m a failure but the truth is that God isn’t done with me yet and he is faithful and the word says he will finish what he starts – pray for me brother that I can stop falling and that I can finally take up my cross ..
