There is a big new fad in America called the survivalist movement. Men and women from all types of socioeconomic backgrounds are loading up on water, guns, ammo, non-perishable food, and survival strategies. The resurgence of conspiracy theories in these troubling times and political agendas have destabilized our society. Riots are common now; lockdowns and closures are very common. There are even power outages across California.
Are you afraid of the future? Are you stocking up for a coming apocalypse?
It may seem silly, but the power outages concerned me…so I finally bought a generator. Actually, my wife bought it, and I’m supposed to set it up, just in case. Oh, good luck. Power is very important to our daily lives. Perhaps this is why Jesus said, “‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you…’” (Acts 1:8, NIV) Although the disciples didn’t have electrical power, they needed emotional and spiritual power to accomplish a crazy mission. Some call it the great co-mission: “‘…and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.’” (Acts 1:8, NIV)
These disciples had the world against them, but Jesus sent them out with a type of power that was dynamite. Do you need this type of power?
You can receive the power of the Holy Spirit because you are a miracle.
I need the power God has promised us. This last week we were without power for 3 days in Texas, and I will never take power for granted. My husband is even thinking about buying a generator just like you did. Prayers for everyone in Texas and around the world experiencing this cold season.

Payer there is Power Power wonder working power in the blood of the lamb…..Pastor Paul thank you for your words of….power that you give us everyday. I praise God, the Son and the Holy Spirit that they gave to me. Unfortunately there are times that I have trouble finding it. Please pray for me.

A PRAYER FOR HELP IN TIME OF TROUBLE
LORD, don’t be angry and rebuke me! Don’t punish me in your anger! I am worn out, O LORD; have pity on me! Give me strength; I am completely exhousted and my whole being is deeply troubled. (Psalms 7).
I’m Blessed for the Lord answering my prayer to save my brother’s soul! I’m the oldest of five boys and my middle brother was the only one who wasn’t saved. My brothers and I would witness to all through the years but he was pretty hardheaded. I travel around a lot with my job and when I was speaking to my unsaved brother I was asking him about his family and his job? At that point I also told him there’s been heavier on my heart that he needs to get his heart right with the Lord! He told me he was going to do it one of these days. I told him the Bible says we’re not promised tomorrow so I’m praying right now, that the Lord will do whatever you need to do is open up your eyes and your heart invite him! My prayer was to be where my brother was at the Lord’s ways are not our ways. My brother was 1000 miles away from me when I’m driving my two door Honda Civic I’m going down the highway and I had a head on collision with an 18 wheeler! The police estimated we are both going 60 miles an hour each! The truck driver had a broken arm broken leg and ribs. I had over 20 brakes on my legs for my pelvis six in my back 50 in my left arm three in my neck and the whole outside of my head was smashed in. The first hospital gave me 28 blood transfusions and wrote in my medical files that I was stable but I was too severe for the hospital. They fly me to the trauma center and I was in surgery for 16 hours. Afterwards they told my wife and brother sleeping on staff for 20 years and told my family that I had a 10% chance to live anywhere if I survived with my Trumatic brain injury I was going to be a vegetable! My wife stood on her face and said thank you John Reed for everything you’ve done but I’m telling you right now I’m not receiving your message because Jesus is a great decision and he’s going to kill my husband! Two weeks later I’m gonna do is come up with a cone on my head from a brain bleed, I had a trach and I had to be going in and out of me. The surgeon said because the nurses weren’t changing their scrubs from room to room and I see you that I had received a severe staff infection called MRSA. This was Monday and if I wasn’t better by Friday they were going to amputate both my left arm and my leg to help keep me alive!I had people come in my room that were friends of mine they had to wear a lab coat gloves and a mask and they laid hands on me and pray for me and I was healed because on Friday the surgeon said that the antibiotics must be kicking in so they don’t have to do the amputation’s! Praise the Lord. Two weeks later my brother told my wife that he loves me but he had to drive back for work in North Carolina. As he was saying that the surgeon came in and told my family that in the 20 years I’ve been there, he had never had a patient who was as bad as me and got worse with somehow or another turn around I got better that the only reason why I was alive was a miracle!!! My brother then told me he touched him so much that he wanted to the other waiting room he knelt down into a chair and he asked Jesus into his heart! Miracles still happen today! Jesus is my great physician!
I truly need this type of dynamite power to drive me shouldered scatter to do the work of God.sometime these words are needed for encouraging us.
