You fear nothing!

In the face of global fear and economic upheaval concerning the coronavirus, we’re sending this important message today. As Christians, how are we to respond to this alarming situation? I pray the scriptures in this text strengthen and fill you with courage and hope! Yes, God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind! (see 2 Timothy 1:7, NKJV)

“I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.” (Psalm 34:4)

Today, I’d like to draw your attention to the word…ALL. This “all” means every fear that’s invading your life.

But how is complete deliverance possible? No fear? Ever? Not about the coronavirus and its worldwide implications? Not about money or financial collapse, Lord? About a disturbing doctor’s report? About relational conflicts that don’t seem to ever improve? About this anxiety you can’t seem to shake? 

Here’s an extraordinary and surprising declaration you can believe deep in your spirit and proclaim today: “I am delivered from all fear. I fear nothing.”

That’s the promise that God speaks over you today: you are liberated from fear. It no longer has any power or hold on you! And this is why:

• In the face of your doubts, God speaks to your heart and strengthens you by His almighty power. You do not tremble.
• In the face of your worries, He gives you His peace that surpasses all understanding. You are unshakeable.
• In the face of your uncertainties, His Spirit guides and counsels you. You are making good decisions.
• In the face of your fears, He reassures you that He is there and will never leave or forsake you. You are protected from chaos.

Psalm 91 is the truth for you right in the midst of everything inciting fear and panic: “You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you.” (Psalm 91:5-7)

Because you seek God and receive His Word every day, fear flees. It is leaving your life, in the name of Jesus! You can be certain that God honors the promises in His Word. 

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)
