You have a place in His heart

Fully comprehending the dimensions of God’s love isn’t easy. Like for this reader who confessed her difficulties to me: “I know that I have inestimable value in God’s eyes, that His love for me is immense, but I feel like there are blockages in me that are preventing me from fully living this reality. I haven’t identified them, and I tend to have low self-esteem.”

Let’s see what John 3:16, one of the Bible’s central verses, says: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16, NKJV)

This verse illustrates the dual approach of divine love – global and individual:

• A global love: God loves the world. And with the internet, God’s love is being shared with the whole world! Some missionaries take their tennis shoes, others (like those at Jesus.net) their computers…Yes, our world has changed, but its need is the same: to know God’s love.
• An individual love: the “whoever” in this verse refers to each person, each individual. Beyond the numbers, the statistics, every person counts. You are precious, and God loves you so much. You are worth so much in His eyes that He gave His Son for you. If Jesus had to have given His life only for you, He would’ve done it!

The whole world, and you will always have a place in His heart full of love.

Let’s praise God together for His love…“Father, I praise You for Your amazingly great love for me…You gave Your Son so that I would have life in abundance and then could, in turn, share Your unmatched love. I love You with all my heart. In Jesus’s name, amen.”

God loves you, and I do too, because He has placed His love for you inside of me. I pray that He continues to bless you day after day!
