You have already won the race!

Home | You have already won the race!

He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” (the Bible, Isaiah 40:29-31)

Life is quite often like a race:

  • Against the passing of time.
  • To earn a living.
  • To respond to all the demands.
  • To buy, to sell.

Only…this race can be exhausting and drive us straight into burn out. To win this race of life, looking unto Jesus is what empowers us to go forward.

Here’s what the Bible tells us: Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:1-2)

When we turn our gaze towards Him, He creates faith in us and perfects it. It doesn’t make the race easier, but it becomes easier to bear, and we’re sure to finish it as conquerors!

If you don’t have any faith in God, you’re doubly beaten in the race of life. But with faith, you’ve won before you even start!

According to your faith let it be to you. You’re not going to sink into weariness. Rather, you’re going to rise and continue your race!

Today, I pray that like Paul, you can say, “…so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus…” (see the Bible, Acts 20:24)

May God bless your life today and always!

I thank God today that my race has already been won. The trials and tribulations i have been going through makes me stronger in Christ. I serve a Almighty God that carries me through each step i take. My battles were left at the cross. I’m a child of God and the enemy can’t tear me down. I’m covered by the blood. I pray that anyone that may see this don’t stop now. Press on don’t get discouraged. Our fight is almost over. God’s coming back soon we have to be ready. Don’t let the enemy in with all the worldly things. Take your problems give them to God and don’t look back. When prayers go up blessings come down.
