You have the right to be weak!

AMED 38.14

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | You have the right to be weak!

In the professional world, sometimes we may be under pressure. This may be due to submitting an urgent and important file to our boss, a transition to a new team, a lay-off, a search for a new job that’s not producing anything yet…Performance at all costs, mandatory success…

All these pressures on your shoulders only send you one message: you don’t have the right to make mistakes. You must be strong and great at what you do. That’s what our society tells you: “If you don’t succeed, you’re nothing. You’ve failed, and you’re not worth anything!”

But the Word of God communicates a completely different message. It’s a truth that sets us free. Jesus says to you today, “My grace is sufficient for you , for My strength is made perfect in your weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9, NKJV)

In other words, you can and have the right to be weak. It’s there that God can finally work and show His mighty strength!

Yes, God can work in your professional life, even if you feel very weak and no matter your responsibility level: whether you’re a janitor or the president of your country.

Another version of this Bible verse says, “‘My grace is always more than enough for you, and my power finds its full expression through your weakness.’”

It’s precisely when you’re weak and no longer in a position to handle it that God can (finally) take the reins! He accomplishes what you can’t do by yourself.

Do not be afraid of your weakness today, but surrender it to the One who is mighty and powerful. Believe in faith that God is rising up for you! And give thanks for what the Lord has done as you listen to this classic song by Don Moen.

Have a beautiful day…the Almighty God is with you!
