You’ll never be too far away or too far gone for God!

AMED 39.25

Home | A Miracle Every Day | Miracles | You’ll never be too far away or too far gone for God!

If you could measure the distance between you and God, would you say that you feel close to Him right now or far away?

Whatever your answer may be, know that you’re not too far from God.

No, you’re not too far away for God to reach you!

The Bible says that the promise (of forgiveness and also the gift of the Holy Spirit) is for all, including “those far away.”

This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away—all who have been called by the Lord our God.(Acts 2:39, NLT)

The people Peter was referring to were those living far away geographically, but I believe that we can also be far from God in our hearts. God’s promise is also for these people, for those who may feel or consider themselves to be “far from God.” Perhaps this is your case?

In our daily walks, feelings about our failures and mistakes can send us the message – lying – that we’re “too far gone” for God to seek us out. This is so untrue!

Don’t let your sins, past mistakes, or failures make you believe that you’re too far away for the Holy Spirit to seek you out. You are in a good place, right here, right now, to open your heart to Him…He knows how to find the path to meet you. In reality, Jesus has already accomplished everything to do so by dying for you on the cross, by opening for you the pathway to God!

Thanks Eric. King David said in Psalm 139:7-10, “Where can I go to escape your spirit? Where can I flee to escape your presence? If I were to ascend to heaven, you would be there. If I were to sprawl out in Sheol, there you would be. If I were to fly away on the wings of the dawn, and settle down on the other side of the sea, even there your hand would guide me, your right hand would grab hold of me.”(NET)
