Your anointing is powerful

Do you realize your anointing is an expression of your gifts, talents, purposes, and passions? When you add all these ingredients together, you will discover and express your secret sauce.

I was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I love almost everything about it. The food is so good, the maple syrup is incredible, and the people are warm and hospitable. But there are a few things that I don’t miss: snow, slush, mosquitoes, black flies, and allergies. Do you have a favorite place? Why is it so special to you? 

My mind is already drifting to my happy places in my hometown. Can you guess what they are? Of course, it’s my family. They all live there, and I miss them so much. I really miss my mom. Oh, and I miss St-Hubert BBQ. My family knows that the first thing I do after I disembark from the plane is to stop at my favorite restaurant and pick up a few meals to go. I order chicken, fries, coleslaw, and the secret sauce. Oh, that secret sauce is so good! It makes everything even better. 

Your anointing is like a secret sauce that makes you better as well as everyone around you. It’s uniquely yours; no one else in the world will have your recipe. 

You are unique, gifted, blessed, and anointed to do great things for God. The Bible says, “But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.” (1 John 2:20, NIV) Jesus spoke of the anointing as well: “‘“The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”’” (Luke 4:18-19, NIV)
