Your help comes from the Lord!

Imagine that you decide to take a walk. The sky is blue, the sun is shining, and the birds are singing. All is well! Then, all of a sudden, it starts raining… it just mists at first, but then it starts to pour. And of course, you don’t have an umbrella because there was no rain in the forecast in last night’s news. What would your first reaction be? I’m sure you’d run to find shelter as soon as possible to avoid getting totally soaked! Unfortunately, this exact situation happened to my wife, Muriel, and me not too long ago.

Sometimes, a parallel can be made with our lives. Everything is going well and then suddenly, rain starts falling and the storm begins to rumble. It may be because you lose trust in someone, experience disappointment or disillusionment, or you’re laid off from a job you really need, etc. When storms like these arise, we must take shelter in a safe place.

Today, I’d like to encourage you to take refuge in the arms of the Creator of the whole universe. (see the Bible, Psalm 121:2) He created the stars, fashioned the Earth, and set the seas’ limits. Consider this: He formed the mountains, even the highest peaks, the ones that impress us the most!

It’s this very God who is your strength! He is the One who carries and restores you. Your help is in Him. He is the surest of shelters. He neither slumbers nor sleeps…He is your keeper. (see the Bible, Psalm 121:4-5)

Your hope is in Him. Your strength is in Him. As this beautiful, spontaneous worship song reminds us, we can get through anything through Him!

I’m with you with my whole heart!

Amazing! This is what I needed to hear today. I do know that my help comes from the Lord, but many times I get caught up in my circumstances. Thanks for this reminder and I love the worship song, “We Can Get Through Anything” so beautiful. Thank you. It reminds me of the scripture I believe in Luke, “that nothing is impossible with God.”

Blessings to you and your family,

    Laura:)

I am so glad I can trust in GOD and not people. Because God has the power to do for me what others can not do. I am grateful that I can put all my trust in him, GOD-I thank you for life itself. Thank you for the experiences I have experience. I give you alll my problems and everything else. You know the beginning and ending, and I give life circumstances over to y ou and I know if I give them to you- that you will make everything alright. My trust is in you God and only you. No matter what the devil has tried to do – He will not succeed. It’s GOD’S way or no way at all. I ask t hat you forgive me now God , A fresh start is what I need. Help me to help my self. In the name of Jesus. Praise God.

I really needed this today. I am at the lowest point in my life. A very part time job, no vehicle, my only means of transportation was gone in an accident,( My daughter and I are ok. My son was with friends.)and we’re staying with friends, but we have to be out by March 3. I believe the reason everything is crashing down around me is because God is preparing to lift me up in ways I could only imagine. God is great and I love him with all my ❤. If you could please say a prayer for me and my family, I would be very blessed, grateful and thankful. God bless you all.

I was very moved by what I heard today, and it brings me hope and reminds me God will always provide. sometimes I get discouraged but what I heard really lifted me up, times have been tough financially and spiritually, it’s just good to be reminded that the Lord knows our troubles and knows our sufferings. Thank you, Amen

Your testimony is also my testimony. There are days when I just feel as if I have no one and the four corners are closing in on me. These timely reminders give me joy to know that that God sees and he knows everything and he’s in control. I am just grateful for these witnesses in this troubled times. Amen

In my humanity I think I’m strong enough to hold up, but then I am reminded that my help comes from the Lord. It’s not me being strong after all, it’s the LORD in me that is giving me the strength to hold on, and get through the disappointment, hurts and let downs from family, friends and the more. Thank you for being my friend to share God’s word with me, allowing me to once again, regain God’s grace and mercy to keep moving forward as a good solider in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
