Believe me when I tell you that I too have moments when I think, “What am I doing all this for anyway?”
I would imagine that some days you also reach your limits with what you’re doing. Maybe you even think from time to time, “Why did I bring children into the world? I don’t have a life of my own anymore!”
I have recently been really disappointed, even insulted, when various people have minimized the importance of my work and calling. And it’s scary how quickly people then believe these words.
Yes, it is always challenging for me in the area of finance as well. These people suggested, “Just do less in the area of your ministry and make good money somewhere else.”
It felt like a slap in the face, and each time, I found myself in tears later on, questioning my whole life.
I prayed earnestly, “Jesus, if what I’m doing is wrong, if You want me to stop, show me.” The next moment I opened a daily calendar that had been sent to me from a ministry I follow. It said:
“God has a great calling on your life. It is a calling for a truly great person and He sees that person IN YOU!”
I was so encouraged by that, reminded of the truth! And, those words are for you too! You are on the right path! Don’t let anyone underestimate the great things God is accomplishing through you!
“The LORD makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the LORD upholds him with his hand.” (Psalm 37:23-24 NIV)
What encouraging words! God sees you! He loves you! Yay! And it is He who will help you up again when you stumble or fall, even if you’re questioning whether you can still follow your calling. HE WILL HELP YOU—and me—over and over again, BECAUSE HE LOVES US!
You are a miracle!

Amen! It is shocking how the world can belittle the calling that God ordained over our lives! But we need to continue to hold fast to His promises and understand that just because it’s not the most profitable, respected, or admired work on earth, it is the richest, most respected and admired work in Heaven – and that is all that matters!!!
Thank you for your encouragement, this is God, because just moments before I opened my daily mail from you, I asked God to help me to lose my faith in him with tears in my eyes.
I’m getting tired and weary that God has forgotten me, I have been out of work from June 2023 and struggling to find another, I cannot help my daughter who is away in University and that stress is taking it’s toll on my life, the basic things I cannot do for my daughter like, she turns 21 today and not even as much as a cake, I can get her.
Please stand in the gap with me, I need just a touch from God.

????i just wrote last night a long letter to God on pieces of table napkins….while i was crying silently quite profusely, asking God to help me understand myself& my feelings .. this message made me cry because its so timely…i felt amazed & so touched????????God knows how i am & how much it means to me
