You’re going to get there!

Have you ever dreamed of being someone else? Or of being different: more courageous, more disciplined, better organized?

I’d like to help you by reminding you, first of all, that God loves you with an unconditional love and that He loves you as you are, like 1 John 4:16 says: “We know how much God loves us, and we have put our trust in his love. God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them.” (read the Bible, NLT)

There is nothing you can do to be more loved. Do you really believe this? But you can certainly do something to love more…

Know too that with God’s help, you can become a better person. You can rise to this challenge of changing, becoming someone faithful to his/her convictions, fulfilled, flourishing.

If this seems unlikely or unachievable to you, the Bible affirms that you will succeed! In fact, “‘anything is possible if a person believes.’” (read Mark 9:23) Yes, you can overcome anything, conquer anything. Your faith in Jesus empowers you to do so!

So I invite you to seek God’s presence and put your faith into action:

• Entrust your dreams and aspirations as prayer requests to God. Tell Him what you’d like to become, with His help.
• Believe with all your heart that the Lord is going to change you day by day.
• Confess that from this day forward, you’re on your way to becoming this “new” you.

With God, you will succeed!
