What if failing were actually learning?

Don’t focus on the seeming failure, but on what God desires to do with and in you! Remember that you are in process…a process of transformation, learning, and shaping each day. With God, your failures are opportunities to learn, go forward, and grow!

Half empty or almost full?

I was stuck on the highway for over two hours, waiting for help. It was so frustrating. I missed important appointments because I failed to fill up the tank…

Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?

God made Himself the Son of Man so that all who believe in the Son can become sons of God. The infinite God became finite so that we might be freed from our own limited and finite nature.

If the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it?

It wasn’t uncommon in Jesus’ time for salt to be mixed, contaminated. The salt had to be pure, authentic. And that’s what you are. You’re already pure because of the Word that Jesus has spoken to you

What do you want me to do for you?

Jesus was the first person Bartimaeus ever saw in his whole life. Jesus restored Bartimaeus’ honor. And He does the same for you! You are the son/daughter of your highly honored Father. And from now on, this honor is for you.

My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?

You no longer have to carry your faults, your sins, or your guilt. You can be emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually restored. God, your Father who loves you, will never, EVER abandon you. It is finished!

What did you go out in the wilderness to see?

It’s in the desert that Jesus began His public ministry. And quite often, God led His prophets into the desert to speak to them. It’s in the desert that a bush lit up in flames and a man, Moses, caught fire for his mission.

Do you believe I can make you see?

Today, Jesus is asking you this same question: Do you believe I can make you see? Do you believe that Jesus can do anything? Do you believe that He cares about you? It’s not out of pity that He’ll save you…it’s in response to your faith.

Who will you lean on?

Someone once said, “love looks like something.” Could it be that we were all designed to lift each other up in times of trouble?
